Retail Cannabis Application Timeline Fresno
October 19, 2020 to December 4, 2020 The application process opened for Retail Commercial Cannabis Businesses. The ordinance outlined an allowable 2 Retail Dispensaries per District. This was later amended and changed to 3 Retail Dispensaries per District.
On September 10, 2021 The City Manager announced the 21 applications approved for a Retail Commercial Cannabis permits in the City of Fresno.
On October 27th The City of Fresno held a public hearing where 5 permit applications were appealed the outcome was 4 were denied . This opened the process back up to decide who to issue the open 4 permits.
The City Manager along with City Council is planning on making a decision during the month of December (There is no definitive date that we are aware of currently). District 2 is one of the 4 permits left to issue.

On November 23rd 2021 we presented at the Pinedale Community Meeting. Our goal was to inform the local community of where the City was in the process of choosing the final retail cannabis license in District 2. More importantly we wanted to hear from the community, their opinions, questions, concerns if we were to be issued the final permit in District 2. Click on the PDF Link to view.
